Credit Cards and Disclaimers

Less of a tech post here, but relevant nonetheless.

I got an updated terms of service from my credit card company increasing my APR. Whatever, thats fine, I rarely if ever carry over a balance, and if I have to I have better (cheaper) ways of going about getting short term credit. I started thinking, “what about all the people who currently have balances?” — at least a cursory review of the three pages of single spaced 9 pt font didn’t look like they would be grandfathered in.

I’m researching the best approach to do a remote linux disto change (fedora to gentoo) with no physical access to the box (located at a colo about 6 states away). One of the articles I found had a pretty good disclaimer and I thought I’d add it to my site.

So in the spirit of changing the terms of service halfway through:
