I hate running around between different PCB fab houses’ websites to see who is cheapest for my most recent design. As I’m sure you’ve figured out, unfortunately, there is no easy answer. If you are going by run size, some fab houses pricing schemes are advantageous if you are doing short runs (APC comes to mind), others are advantageous if you are doing mid sized runs and want full-spec boards (Gold Phoenix), and yet others are advantageous if you’re doing huge runs (Olimex). There are different breakdowns if you are unit-cost conscious, turn-time conscious, etc.

To play around with some numbers to judge for yourself, try out our calculator.

As always, feel free to send any feedback about price changes, fab houses you would like to see, etc.
